If you want to receive or give an item by post, the giver must supply some detail to the receiver and we recommend that the receiver then books the collection & delivery. Once the receiver has the information they can set up a collection while liaising with the giver (don’t worry, it's relatively easy as long as you keep in contact with each other). We’ll help in the app by providing you links to either the Gophr or Shiply delivery services in the chat with the item giver if they’ve confirmed you’re having it. Currently, these links will take you out of the YoungPlanet app to their website to arrange the delivery.


Please note this is a temporary solution - we are working on a more integrated approach that will make this easier to do, thank you in advance for your patience.


The delivery provider we recommend is based on your locations which is why we ask you to provide your address, either when you list an item for the first time or when you request an item for the first time. We’ll only ask you this once and save it to your account so we can work out the best delivery service for you on future items. You can update your saved address in Profile > Settings > Your Address.
